Report Cards

How healthy is Nine Mile Run? Every year, we produce a two-page report detailing its health and that of its tributaries. Data is collected throughout the year as part of our monthly water quality monitoring effort and the grading method varies by parameter, based on state and/or federal regulations. The easy-to-understand report grades in three areas:

• Human health: lead, bacteria, aluminum
• Aquatic habitat support: pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrogen (NO3)
• Wildlife: fish and macroinvertebrates
