Garlic Mustard & Fumewort Removal with Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy
Join UpstreamPgh & Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy as we battle spring invasives! Garlic Mustard is a classic invasive species that pops up in early spring, crowding out valuable sunlight in shaded woodlands. Incised Fumewort is a new emerging invasive that recently appeared in the park. Like garlic mustard, it competes for valuable spring sunlight and reproduces quickly. We’ll plant native flowers in place of the invasives we remove.
