Urban EcoStewards Workday: Frick Park

Can’t get enough of beautification efforts around the Nine Mile Run restoration area? Seasonal stream sweeps not enough for you anymore?

Seems as if you might be the perfect fit for the Urban EcoStewards! Join us each month as we take a group of dedicated volunteers to assist with invasive plant removal, tree cage maintenance, and trash pick-up. Each group session will serve as training for any new volunteers, so if you’ve never joined us on a clean-up before, these are perfect jumping in points. 

Plan to get a little messy and dress accordingly. Closed-toe shoes required, water-resistant or waterproof shoes recommended. Gloves, bags, and tools will be provided. 

This is a volunteer event and attendance is free.
