Signs of Spring in Fern Hollow

Emerge from hibernation with coffee and a hike through Frick Park’s Fern Hollow! We’ll be joined by expert ecologists and wetland scientists from Civil & Environmental Consultants who will help us identify wildflower species and other signs of spring in the park. 

We’ll also discuss ongoing efforts to protect Fern Hollow Valley in the wake of the 2022 bridge collapse, including updates on UpstreamPgh’s visioning process for improvements in this section of the park.

We’ll meet at the lower Frick Park Play area. This event is free, but registration is required so we can plan efficiently for the event! Coffee will be provided, please bring a travel mug if you have one!
