Birdhouse Class w/ WorkshopPgh

We’re teaming up with WorkshopPgh for a birdhouse building workshop! 

Join us for this special one time Spring Event with WorkshopPgh. We celebrate Spring by making TWO small birdhouses perfect for local birds to nest before baby season and support our local bird community! You will assemble two pre cut birdhouses from cedar so they can withstand the weather and remain natural cedar so they are most welcoming for birds. We will demo how to create your birdhouse, drill for drainage and talk about what birds it will be ideal for. We will have a simple style perfect for wrens, chickadees and finches. Enjoy some fun over DIY with neighbors, some light nibbles, refreshments, you can pack up up some pollinator seeds for your garden and make bird pins over the night too. Just a fun night to get ready for Spring with Workshop and UpstreamPGH.

This event will take place at the Workshop PGH DIY school located at 321 Pennwood Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15221. The entrance is on the side of the building, on Vassar Way. There is street parking available on Pennwood Ave and Todd Street. The office is near the MLK East Busway and the 61A bus route.
