Frick Park Workday at Duck Hollow

We are holding our second annual Duck Hollow workday! As Nine Mile Run flows into the Monongahela river, soil is gradually deposited forming a delta. This special riparian zone is home to a plethora of species that can survive in few other habitats. Help us manage invasive purple loosestrife and yellow iris and finish by planting native monkeyflowers and other plants to restore historic biodiversity.
