Park Protectors
Join us for a half-day of service learning and team building in Nine Mile Run! Small to medium sized groups are led by UpstreamPgh experts in litter pick-up, invasive species removal, and/or native plantings to help keep Nine Mile Run and Frick Park as clean and vibrant as possible. Come as you are– we provide everything you need.
(Starts at $3,000)
Garden Guardians
We’ll take your small group (up to 20) to one of our civic-scale Green Stormwater Infrastructure Sites in and around Pittsburgh’s East End for 2-3 hours, where participants will learn how we manage stormwater runoff naturally and participate in some light maintenance work that includes weed pulling, planting, mulching, and more.
(Starts at $1,500)
Hike & Hear
Hike with an UpstreamPgh expert for a 1-2 hour guided tour of Nine Mile Run or one of our Green Stormwater Infrastructure sites. Participants will learn about a variety of topics including our history and work, urban stream restoration, ecological stewardship, stormwater runoff management, climate resilient infrastructure, and more!
(Starts at $1,000)
Lunch & Learn
We provide an UpstreamPgh expert for an engaging 30-60 minute presentation (in-person or virtual) and Q&A on any number of pre-selected or custom topics.
(Starts at $500)
