2025 Environmental Justice Awareness Fair

Mary Nesby, UpstreamPgh’s Mon Valley Advocacy Manager invites Mon Valley community members to the upcoming Environmental Justice Awareness Fair in Homestead.

Mary’s work focuses on bridging the gap between environmental justice organizations and our Mon Valley communities, creating meaningful connections that lead to awareness, opportunity, and lasting change.

This gathering will bring together local leaders, residents, and advocates to shine a light on the work being done to heal our environment and strengthen our communities. It’s a space for learning, sharing, and inspiring action toward a more just and sustainable Mon Valley.

Organizations are welcome to participate. Donations of protective or wellness items, such as masks, water filters, or air purifiers, that could benefit the community, will be welcomed and appreciated as gestures of care and commitment.

We’ll also feature participating organizations’ logos on the flyer to recognize their partnership and support. The deadline for inclusion on the event flyer is Friday, November 7th. Please reach out to Mary at mary@upstreampgh.org if you are an organization interested in joining us on November 19th.
