Nine Mile Run EarthViews and Survae Imagery
Bringing cutting edge geospatial technology to our watershed.
In April of 2020 members of our team at UpstreamPgh waded through the Nine Mile Stream with a GoPro MAX 360 camera provided by EarthViews. The goal of this project was to capture high resolution terrestrial imagery of the stream and it’s surroundings.
Through the EarthViews platform you can explore the Nine Mile Run stream from anywhere in the world. If you would like to contribute to the map and add scene tags you can create an account with EarthViews for free!
In addition, Pittsburgh Based company CivicMapper collected aerial imagery with their drone which is hosted on Survae.
