WSRP Construction Walk #5

The Wilkinsburg Stormwater Resiliency Project build-out has begun!  Throughout the next few weeks, we’ll be transforming the medians in the two parking lots, along Wallace Avenue and South Avenue, into functional bioswales that will capture an estimated 1 million gallons of stormwater a year! Come learn more about all the gnitty gritty details as it happens at our Construction Walks, taking place throughout the installation process.

This one will be taking place on Thursday, May 4th at 5:30pm. Meet at the UpstreamPgh offices and we’ll walk on down to the site to see the site in progress. Please wear close-toed shoes, as we will be visiting an active construction site.
