Wetland Walk w/ CEC & 3RoC

Some scientists call wetlands “the kidneys of nature”. We heartily agree, and we want to tell you why.

Wander into wetter parts of Frick Park with us and Professional Wetland Scientist Fritz Dubbs of the Civil Environmental Consultants to learn about what qualifies as a wetland, how they are surveyed, conservation efforts, their crucial part in the water cycle, and more! We’ll end our journey at 3 Rivers Outdoor Company to dry off by the fireside and raise a Brew Gentlemen brew to our tiny but mighty local swamps.
