Frick Park Watershed Walk with Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory
Pittsburgh Water Collaboratory is co-hosting a watershed walk with Upstream Pittsburgh through Nine Mile Run and Fern Hollow on Thursday, June 27th from 6-8pm! This Watershed Walk will feature a conversation and educational resources to learn more about wetland mitigation, Acid Mine Drainage that has impacted Nine Mile Run, current restoration efforts, as well as the amazing collaborative research that is being conducted in the streams surrounding Frick Park!
Participants should be prepared to hike around 3 miles around the park with variable terrain. Participants should meet at Biddle Ave Parking Lot, where there is a parking lot and ample street parking. For bus transit, please take the 61B to Braddock and Biddle.
