Social Sensing Info Session

Calling all members of the Nine Mile Run Watershed Community!

We are seeking participants for a new and exciting research project with the University of Pittsburgh within our watershed. This pilot program aims to conduct environmental monitoring and local community-building through a “social-sensing system”. Participants will be provided with a small sensor to be installed on a porch or window at their home. Participants will then be asked to connect the sensor to their Wi-Fi network so that data can be shared with the community.
