Partner Event: Water Quality Kayaking w/ 3 Rivers Outdoor Company

August is National Water Quality Month! Join UpstreamPgh staff, Aaron Birdy and Keith Moore, along with staff from 3 Rivers Outdoor Company, for a a fun and informative morning kayak along the Allegheny River. As we drift downriver, we will discuss the history of pollution in the three rivers and reflect on the progress that has been made that allows us to enjoy our region’s rivers and streams today. During the paddle, be prepared to observe the local flora and fauna while listening to the sounds of the river.

We look forward to getting out on the water to reflect on the scenic beauty of the Allegheny River with you!

This event has limited space and requires a registration fee of $35 (if you plan to rent a 3ROC kayak) or $10 (if you are bringing your own kayak and equipment).
