Printing & Making Art with Nature Party w/ WorkshopPGH

We’ve teamed up with our neighbors at WorkshopPGH for some summer fun! We will team up to collect local flowers and native plants that are able to be used in bundle dyeing and flower pounding. This fun process will show you how to mordant your fabric, use plants & flowers to create one of a kind nature prints and then we will steam your items to lock in the patterns. Each student will be able to dye 2 items of their choice- a 1/4 yard square of fabric and/or a bandana. We will be using Kristen Artz Dye Kits in class. You also will be able to create one of a kind flower pound art on paper.

This will be a social & open workshop that is meant to make, mix & mingle. We will have snacks and refreshments too! Thanks to our neighbors at WorkshopPGH for hosting this workshop with us!
